and advice. That is what we supply.
We do not believe in the evasive mental semaphore that can masquerade as consultancy : “On the one hand, this might be right; on the other hand, that might be right - it’s up to you, my client, to decide”.
No. We provide, if nothing
else, a view. In the turmoil of ideas, we take risks. We make choices. We
highlight our preferences. We regard it as our job to explore books and reports
with challenging ideas in them; to draw profitably on our cumulative experience
with clients; to use data – but not pretend that fact equals insight. When necessary and important, our job is to
destabilise conventional wisdom.
We operate in a highly
competitive environment. We aim to maximise our fee revenue by being the best
at what we do.
